Portraits!

The last month and a half have been really busy with portrait sessions.  Below are some of my favorite photographs from the sessions.

When I was in Germany I was fortunate enough to photograph adorable, little Orlando's one year old portraits.

Baby Mike was super sweet during his first portraits.  He was only 6 weeks old!

Congratulations to Amanda and Mike!  They are getting married next summer.  I took their engagement portraits at Legacy Park in Fort Collins, Colorado.

I also photographed Laine and Dan's engagement photographs at Legacy Park.  They were married a few weeks ago.  Congratulations to both of them!

Elisa and Steven met and fell in love at Metro State University in Denver.  That was our background for their lovely engagement photos.  I can't wait to photograph their wedding in October!

McMurry Natural Area in Fort Collins, Colorado was the backdrop for Rachel and Chris' engagement portraits.  I am excited to photograph their wedding in August!

Adrienne and Josh

In May, Adrienne and Josh were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Avery House in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A light sprinkle of rain started just as the ceremony ended.  Luckily it did not last very long and enabled me to capture fun umbrella photographs.

After the ceremony, Adrienne and Josh and about 50 of their guests took a scenic bike ride through Lee Martinez Park ending at the reception which was held in the Agave Room at the Rio.  I have never seen so many ladies biking in skirts and dresses.  It definitely takes talent!

Jessica and Dan

Last Saturday, Jessica and Dan were wed in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, Colorado.  They first met in grade school and became boyfriend-girlfriend.  Years later they reconnected and now are married!

As we walked down to the pond area where we wanted to take the photographs, we realized there was an elk in the same area enjoying an afternoon graze.  He stayed the entire time we were there, helping to create some truly beautiful and rare photographs.

Amy and Lee

High school sweethearts Amy and Lee were married last Friday in an emotional ceremony at Summitview Community Church in Fort Collins, Colorado. Amy's dress was absolutely stunning, very simple yet very unusual. My favorite part was the diamond cut back.

Below is  Amy and her attendants.  Amy is into theater which made her a natural at posing and very photogenic.  I really had a blast working with her.

Amy and Lee had one of the most emotional ceremonies I have ever attended.  They included a foot washing ceremony where they washed eachothers feet.  I don't think there was a dry eye in the place.

Rachelle and Tony

Last Saturday Rachelle and Tony were married in a lovely ceremony at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.  They are one of the many wonderful couples who have been united through eHarmony.com.

I absolutely love Rachelle's veil.

I have photographed many brides who choose flip-flops over heels, but Rachelle is the first bride that has chosen crocks!  They looked great and I am guessing they were super comfy.

The reception was at the Fort Collin's Hilton.  The decorations were perfect.  My favorite was their cake.  It was beautiful, classic with a modern twist.
